Sensor type and placement are determined according to silo dimensions and physical structure of the stored material.

Sensor Mounting

Non-contact radar level sensors placed on the roof and hanging type temperature probes hanging inside the silo are installed.

Calibration & Adjustment

Silo empty/full distances are entered into the system. Volume and tonnage algorithms are defined according to material type.

The geometric dimensions of the silo and the hectolitre (density) value of the stored material are entered into the system. The occupied volume (m³) is calculated by deducting the remaining space with the help of the level distance from the radar sensor. Instant tonnage information is obtained by multiplying this volume by the density of the substance.
No. Our probes have high-strength steel rope sheaths that are mounted as hangers on the silo ceiling. It is fully resistant to the high tensile forces that occur during the filling and unloading of grain, and does not damage the flow of the material and the silo structure.
No. Our data logger modules continue to record measurements in their internal memory in case of internet interruption. When the connection is restored, the backed up data is automatically synchronized to the cloud servers.
No usage fee is charged for the first year. After the first year, an annual service fee is applied, covering maintenance, server hosting, software updates and technical service support processes.
Argekip Silo Tracking System equipment is covered by a 2-year warranty against production and workmanship defects in accordance with legal legislation.
